In the state of Uttarakhand, the bear is found in the high Himalayas, alpine and plains. The high bear population in these areas often leads to incidents of human-bear conflict. This 7-minute short animation film talks about mitigation methods, especially on how to avoid conflict, and the precautions to be taken in situations when someone comes in contact with a bear. Along with this, information related to reporting of human bear conflict, and the compensation process by the forest department in case of an accident have also been highlighted by the film. The film is part of the SECURE Himalaya Project.
