Each year, the coastal region of Orissa witnesses the spectacular en masse arrival of thousands of Olive Ridley Turtles. But the breeding season coincides with the peak fishing season that provides livelihood to thousands of fishworkers - leading to much conflict. The film takes an intense look at the concerns around turtle conservation and the protection of the livelihood of traditional fishing communities.
