Prabin Saikia’s love for plants was nurtured by his grandmother, who would hold his hand and introduce him to the world of flora. As he grew older, he noticed that many of the plants from his childhood were disappearing. This realisation led to the creation of Banatirtha, a place dedicated to preserving Assam’s indigenous plant life.
