2023   |   4mins 52secs

A small birding club in Ziro is helping the outreach and conservation of resident and migratory birds alike. They have recorded 331 species from the region and conduct walks and print awareness materials to inculcate the idea of birdwatching to people. Meet some of the abundant biodiversity in this region through members of the club.

This film is a part of ‘Stories from the Ground: Northeast’, a new film series by The Habitats Trust and Dusty Foot Productions. The series travels through the north-eastern states collecting 50 shorts shot by local filmmakers to bring stories rooted in the culture, traditions, and biodiversity of the region.
